Founded in the year 1712. the Augustinian Recollects founded the mission for Mabalacat in 1712 and laboured the faith in this town. Fray Andres de San Fulgencio is responsible for the early beginnings of the mission and the formation of a new town in the Upper Pampanga.it was dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary under the title Our Lady of Grace. an early Augustinian devotion.
